Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Wakefield (WF4 area)
Salary: £460 – £600 per week

About the Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students’ learning and development. You will assist with classroom activities, provide one-to-one or small group support, and help implement strategies to meet individual educational plans. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the educational experience of students with SEN.
Responsibilities:
* Support teachers in delivering lessons and implementing individual learning plans.
* Assist students with SEN in one-to-one or small group settings.
* Encourage student participation and engagement in classroom activities.
* Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Observe, monitor, and report on student progress and behaviour.
* Support the development of social, emotional, and communication skills alongside academic learning.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience working with children in a SEN or educational support role is preferred.
* Understanding of SEN needs and evidence-based support strategies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patient, adaptable, and able to meet the needs of individual students.
* Ability to follow structured support plans and work collaboratively with staff.
