Swindon Vets for Pets - Veterinary Surgeon (12-Month FTC, Part-Time)

We’re excited to offer a 12-month fixed-term opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our welcoming team at Swindon Vets for Pets.
The Role
This is a part-time position (approx. 20–30 hours per week) with flexibility to suit your lifestyle. Ideally, you’ll work across Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, with some Saturday mornings on a fair rota.
We’re open to discussing working patterns to find what works best for you.
About You
We’re looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who:
1. Is confident with routine surgery and consultations
2. Enjoys working as part of a collaborative, supportive team
3. Has strong communication skills and builds great client relationships
4. An interest in exotics would be a bonus, but not essential
About the Practice
You’ll be joining a friendly and experienced team of 14, including:
5. 3 Veterinary Surgeons (including a medicine certificate holder)
6. 3 Registered Veterinary Nurses
7. 1 Student Nurse
8. 1 Veterinary Care Assistant
9. Dedicated admin team
