Responsibilities
* Teach on the T Level engineering programme and other related courses as required.
* Demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for Mechanical Engineering and inspire students.
* Use industry equipment effectively (lathes, milling machines, drills, grinders, welding, 3D printers).
* Contribute to the development and delivery of curricula and teaching materials.
* Support students to achieve appropriate levels of attainment and progression.
* Engage in training and development to achieve required teaching qualifications.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Ideally hold a level 4 (HNC) qualification or higher in mechanical engineering or a related field.
* GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English, or a commitment to achieving them.
* Teaching qualification (or a commitment to achieving within a specified timeframe).
* Industry experience and the ability to teach using relevant equipment and facilities.
* Willingness to be flexible about working across campus locations as Suffolk New College is a multi-campus site.
