Role Overview
As a Mid Level Solutions Engineer, you will play a key role in bridging technical expertise with business objectives. You will collaborate with Sales, Presales, Account Management, Product, Data, and other teams to understand customer needs, design tailored solutions and ensure successful delivery. This is a hands-on, client-facing role where your technical problem-solving skills, commercial awareness, and ability to communicate complex ideas simply will have a direct impact on customer success.
Key Responsibilities
 * Design, present, and demonstrate tailored technical solutions for prospective and existing clients.
 * Provide technical guidance and support to customers during implementation phases.
 * Assist the Support team in troubleshooting and resolving complex client issues.
 * Work closely with relevant teams to understand customer requirements and pain points.
 * Collaborate with product development teams to provide feedback on customer needs and market trends.
 * Provision, maintain, upgrade, and decommission client infrastructure within the Netacea platform.
 * Support critical customer issues as part of an on-call rota outside of standard business hours, receiving a daily allowance in addition to your salary.
 * Liaise with relevant lines of business on client support issues.
 * Log, track, and manage client-related activities within the Project Management System.
 * Contribute to proposals, technical documentation, and presentations for client meetings.
 * Keep up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings.
Skills and Qualifications
 * Relevant professional experience (minimum 2 years) in a technical, customer-facing role.
 * Solid understanding of solution architecture and design principles.
 * Familiarity with APIs, major cloud platforms, and SaaS environments.
 * Understanding of networking, security principles, and data integration.
 * Knowledge of SQL for querying and analysing customer log data.
 * Experience with troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis.
 * Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics.
 * Strong customer focus and ability to align technical solutions with business outcomes.
 * Pre-sales experience, including product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts (advantageous).
 * Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
 * Team player with proven collaboration skills across multiple functions.
 * Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
