Role Overview:
As a Customer Service Assistant/Yard Operative, you'll work outdoors serving customers, operating forklifts, and preparing/loading orders. Your focus will be on efficiency, safety, and delivering high-quality customer service with product knowledge and advice.
Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 07:30-17:00, Friday 07:30-16:00, Saturday 08:00-12:00, with flexibility for different patterns.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
* Serve customers face-to-face, independently and in a team
* Prepare orders for collection/delivery, complete sales documentation
* Load/unload vehicles manually and with forklift
* Check and store goods correctly
* Maintain stock levels and assist with stocktakes
Requirements:
* Approachable, team-oriented, with a passion for customer service
* Basic literacy and numeracy skills
* Proactive attitude
* Previous experience in a similar role and forklift license (preferred)
