Job Title: Data Analyst (Fixed Term, 2 Years)
**Working Style:** Hybrid role with attendance in the Chelmsford office expected 2-3 days per month, depending on business needs.
**Contract Duration:** Fixed term / secondment for 2 years.
Role Overview
As an Analyst, you will bridge data and decision-making, supporting data management, enhancing data literacy, and providing senior leaders with insights for effective leadership. Your responsibilities include presenting data creatively, working with the Active Essex team to promote good data practices, and championing an evidence-based approach.
Key Responsibilities
1. Work with diverse data sources to develop reports and insights, including system requirements, deep dives, dashboards, and predictive analytics.
2. Ensure renewable data pipelines and apply various data manipulation and visualization techniques.
3. Support system development, demand forecasting, risk stratification, and other analytical tasks.

Accountabilities
* Create high-quality analytical reports with actionable recommendations.
* Provide timely data and insights to enable effective decision-making.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to develop research products assessing needs, trends, and supply.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
* Recognized technical ability in data science or analytics, including Excel and PowerBI.
* Degree level education or equivalent experience.
* Strong communication skills to present complex data simply.
* Experience with quantitative and qualitative analysis, evaluation frameworks, and performance management.
