We are recruiting for a Motion & Graphic Designer. You will be part of a team that create exceptional motion and graphic design for Compare the Market, bringing stories to life through animation, design craft and video production. Shoot, edit and finish content for digital, social, web and internal channels, translating briefs into bold, on-brand assets delivered to deadline.
What You’ll Be Doing
Creative concept and development
* Interpret stakeholder briefs and respond with strong creative concepts grounded in brand standards and best practice.
* Contribute to brainstorms and develop innovative creative approaches for motion, design and storytelling.
* Create concept comms (style frames, storyboards, animatics) that clearly sell timing, pacing and narrative.
Motion design and graphic craft
* Deliver high-quality AV and design content that aligns to the CtM brand, blending creativity with strong technical execution across channels.
* Apply advanced finishing craft; colour correction/grading, audio mixing, and motion graphics to raise overall output quality.
* Plan and capture footage as needed, confident in camera operation, shooting, lighting, sound and editing.
Skills
Strong command of typography, animation, audio and editing, able to create dynamic, engaging content across all platforms.
* Proven ability to take a brief and develop innovative creative solutions grounded in brand thinking.
* Able to encode, convert, export and adapt assets for different formats/channels with strong attention to detail and quality control
* Confident communicator who can present work clearly to stakeholders at all levels and navigate feedback effectively.
Experience
* Strong portfolio showing a wide range of motion design projects with consistently high craft.
* Proficient in shooting and editing video content with confident camera operation skills.
* Proven ability to tailor storytelling and production approaches for different platforms and audiences.
Knowledge
* In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud. Both digital and print.
* Expert-level ability in photo retouching, image compositing, and photo manipulation to create polished, production-ready assets.
* Advanced editing knowledge including colour correction, grading and audio mixing.
