Job Description
3. Prepare and deliver timely and accurate management accounts and financial reports.
4. Analyse financial data to support business decision-making processes.
5. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
6. Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis against budgets.
7. Work closely with operational teams to ensure financial objectives are met.
8. Support the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with auditors as required.
9. Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
10. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
11. Professional accounting qualifications eg CIMA, ACCA, ICAS, etc
12. Strong understanding of financial reporting and analysis within the industrial/manufacturing industry.
13. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
14. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
15. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in Fife.
16. Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and standards.
