Job Description
Aramark UK are currently looking for a talented, enthusiastic and experienced Sous Chef to ensure the smooth running of all aspects of in house food at Great Western Hospital, SN3 6BB.

Job Responsibilities
* You will be running shifts and guiding your team when the Head Chef is not present, producing meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner – so organisation and the ability to thrive under pressure is required!
* You will be organising and supporting your team to ensure a smooth operation daily, allocating tasks so that your team and time are fully utilised.
* You will be producing food in line with recipe sheets, and have full knowledge of all menu items served, including allergen information.
* Management of production and food levels to ensure minimal wastage. You will also be placing orders and keeping records of any stock wastage, alongside receiving deliveries, and ensuring they are stored correctly, and the FIFO method is followed.
* Carrying out deep cleans daily / weekly alongside your team, ensuring all staff are fully trained on their sections and have undertaken any relevant training as required.

* Experience operating at Sous Chef level
* IT literate
