Logistics Manager – Nottingham (Student Accommodation Project)

Start Date: January 2026
We’re seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to start on a two-year student accommodation build in Nottingham. As the on-site Logistics Manager, you’ll play a key role in the smooth operation of this busy construction project, ensuring materials, people, and processes all move efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate all site logistics operations, including hoist operators, crane staff, forklift drivers, and general labourers.

Oversee delivery scheduling, ensuring materials arrive on time and are distributed efficiently across site.
*
Implement and manage effective waste management and recycling procedures.
*
Ensure safe and compliant traffic and pedestrian management around site.
*
Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and suppliers to coordinate resources and maintain programme.
*
Maintain site appearance, storage areas, and welfare facilities to a high standard.
*
Support HSEQ compliance, promoting a strong culture of safety and organisation.
Requirements
*
Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or Site Logistics Supervisor on large construction projects.
*
Experience managing multiple site operatives and plant staff.
*
Strong organisational and communication skills.
*
Valid CSCS card, SMSTS/SSSTS, and First Aid certification preferred.
*
Competent understanding of delivery coordination and waste management processes.
