Engage in street washing, yardman duties, and work at Household Waste Recycling Centres. Promote the service and ensure the provision of a quality, effective, customer-focused service. Complete cleansing rounds, requiring litter picking, sweeping for long distances, and loading heavy items of illicit tipping to vehicles. Deliver a customer-focused service to all residents, providing information on cleansing, collection, and recycling. Assist members of the public at Household Waste Recycling Centres, segregating materials for recycling and keeping sites clean and hazard-free. Work out of hours when required to allow emergency services access and perform other functions provided by Public Services.
