Artemis is looking for an experienced Sous Chef to work in a well established kitchen at our Rivervale Barn venue on the Hampshire / Berkshire border. You will need to be self‑motivated, calm under pressure with a passion for cooking the finest food using fresh ingredients.

The must haves
* 2 years’ experience in a similar position, used to providing for 100+ covers using fresh ingredients together with a strong background in food‑led establishments.
* A passion for cooking.
* A proven track record, with good references to support your CV.
* Kitchen management and communication skills.
* Own transport is essential due to the location.
* Candidates must be eligible to work full‑time in the UK.
What will my responsibilities include?
* Ensuring high standards of food preparation and service are kept. Maintaining a clean environment.
* Following our allergens policy and kitchen management package (full training given).
* Assisting the head chef with the management of the kitchen team.
* Daily ordering from suppliers.
* Day‑to‑day reporting to the Head chef and General Manager, responding to emails.
* Managing Checkit (full training given).
