Pay rate:
£15.23 per hour for waking nights (Monthly Pay)
Shift Pattern:
36 hours per week across Waking Night shifts at 8:00am - 8:00pm and sometimes split shifts.
About the Role:
We have a rewarding opportunity to work with an individual living in their family home in Fowey. This person has Autism and Paranoid Schizophrenia. While these conditions present challenges and risks, they do not define the individual. They enjoy hobbies such as Motorbikes, Engineering, outdoor activities like Mountain biking & Surfing. Local knowledge of Fowey is preferred to facilitate trips out and about.
Enriching activities are a key part of your support, and an empathetic approach will help make a real difference in their life. Previous experience with:
* Autism
* Paranoid Schizophrenia
* Challenging behaviours
What will your shift involve?
You will provide high-quality, 1:1 care, engaging in meaningful activities and community outings to promote social interaction and well-being. Supporting household tasks to maintain a comfortable, organized environment and communicating clearly and confidently in their preferred manner are essential for building trust.
