Job Purpose
Reporting to the Global Installation Manager; to support the installation phase of our global projects.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the SHEQ and Installation teams to develop and issue project-specific site safety files and documentation.
* Conduct regular reviews of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) to identify and implement best practices.
* Support the creation of project-specific RAMS to capture relevant local rules and regulations through consultation with the SHEQ and Install teams.
* Prepare comprehensive lifting plans for site operations.
* Ensure proper arrangements and controls are in place for lifting operations, in line with regional requirements and regulations.
* Identify and arrange hire or provision of relevant cranage plant, equipment and welfare for sites as required including off hire.
* Support the Management of the issue, return, audit and restocking of site tool kits and site safety kits either between factory and site or directly between sites.
* Provide support / information to Installation Supervisors enabling completion of mechanical checklists.
* Ensure compliance with CDE continuous improvement culture.
* Support Installation Managers / Supervisors on maintenance and upkeep of company-controlled vehicles, tools, equipment & assets.
* Support Schedule adherence for Global installations.
* Support Regional Installation Managers / Supervisors with planning of resources & equipment.
* Support Regional Installation Managers / Supervisors with management of subcontractor performance, efficiency & requirement.
* Tracker completion.
* Support Installation execution on site in a mechanical assembly or Supervisory capacity if required.
* Budget control / adherence.
* Support Regional Installation Managers / Supervisors on the efficient completion of site installation, punch list completion and commissioning support activities.
* Adhere to CDE’s HR and H&S policies.
Required Criteria
* Mechanical qualification or significant relevant experience.
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar role supporting assembly/build operations.
* Proven organisational skills with the ability to effectively plan, organise and control large engineering projects.
* Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
* Good interpersonal skills.
* The ability to communicate effectively in writing, orally, and through presentations.
* Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
* Prudent fact‑based decision‑making in absence of specific guidance.
* Enthusiastic, energetic self‑starter able to work on own initiative.
* Willingness to develop and adapt to new situations.
* Available to work flexible hours and to travel as necessary.
* Current driving licence and vehicle insured for business use.
* Due to the international travel requirements of the position, incumbents should be double‑vaccinated in relation to Covid‑19 to prevent need for quarantine where possible, special circumstances not withholding.
* Clearance to work in EU.

* Electrically & mechanically qualified.
* Health & Safety qualification.
* Crane / lifting operations Supervisor.
* Experience of supporting site operations.
