Job Description
As part of our Emergency Response Team, you’ll be the first on the scene at customers’ homes, representing our brand to those concerned about potential gas escapes or carbon monoxide alarms.
Key Responsibilities
1. Respond to emergencies, sometimes coordinating with emergency services, to protect lives and assist vulnerable, elderly, or help-seeking customers.
2. Perform installation, replacement, and maintenance of gas meters for residential and commercial customers.
3. Conduct high-rise and gas safety regulation surveys.
4. Fit cooker safety valves.
Experience and Qualifications
* Excellent communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
* CCN1 or CMA1 qualification required; MET1 qualification beneficial but not essential.
* Experience with gas environments, appliances, testing, purging, and pipework commissioning.
* Understanding of Standards, Legislation, Codes of Practice, and Health and Safety.
* Full UK driving licence.
