Reporting to the IT Portfolio Manager, the role is accountable for ensuring all projects are running smoothly on budget, and on time. You'll have responsibility for identifying risks and issues, as well as recording actions and decisions reached during meetings and workshops.
Key Responsibilities
Analyst Responsibilities
* Maintaining the RISK Register for the IT Portfolio spanning Operational projects and Cyber Security projects.
* Recording agreed actions from meetings and workshops, ensuring timely updates from action owners.
* Documenting lessons learned during the project lifecycle.
* Communicating effectively with stakeholders according to project communication plans.
* Managing meetings from setup to minute-taking and distribution of outputs.
* Seeking opportunities to improve processes, documentation, and ways of working.
* Performing additional tasks as assigned by the IT Portfolio Manager.
* Supporting IT Leadership by ensuring governance across initiatives and identifying interdependencies.
* Creating and maintaining project artefacts and documentation to support delivery.
Knowledge and Experience
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Knowledge of PPM methodologies such as AGILE and Prince2.
* Basic IT awareness.
* Experience with PPM tools, task management, and Kanban workflows.
* Experience with IT transformation programmes is advantageous.
* Ability to work collaboratively and maintain effective relationships.
* Track record supporting change and continuous improvement.
* Experience working in large-scale, multi-site environments.
