Overview
We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the fire and security industry, strong sales experience, and a proven track record of selling to electrical wholesalers and installers. This role requires a positive attitude, exceptional account management skills, and the ability to drive new business sales.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets within the designated region.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with electrical wholesalers, installers, and trade businesses.
3. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
4. Provide product training and support to customers as needed.
5. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues.
Qualifications
1. Proven experience in sales within the fire and security industry.
2. In-depth knowledge of fire products and related safety regulations.
3. Demonstrated success in selling to electrical wholesalers, installers, and trade businesses.
4. Strong B2B sales experience with a focus on new business development.
5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
6. Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Day-to-day
1. Conduct sales meetings and presentations with potential and existing customers.
2. Travel within the designated region to meet with clients and prospects.
3. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted sales campaigns.
4. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities.
5. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
