We are now recruiting a Revenue & Guest Experience Manager, a pivotal hybrid leadership role that blends commercial ownership with operational presence
This is not a back-office sales role, and it is not a traditional reception management role. It is a hands-on, commercially accountable position that embeds Reception as a true revenue hub while ensuring seamless guest delivery across private hire, corporate bookings and day-to-day operations.
The Role
You will lead and develop the Host Team while owning reactive sales, private hire coordination and enquiry conversion. You will sit at the intersection of Revenue, Sales and Operations — ensuring bookings are not only secured, but executed to BAM's premium standards.
You will report to the Head of Sales, Assistant General Manager and Country Director
Key Responsibilities
Host Team Leadership & Revenue Ownership
* Lead and structure the Host Team (Grades 1–3 progression)
* Embed enquiry ownership and conversion accountability at reception
* Train Hosts in booking management, upselling and pre-order accuracy
* Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions
* Monitor response times, conversion rates and booking precision
* Ensure premium front-of-house presentation and guest flow standards
Reactive Sales & Private Hire Management
* Manage the booking inbox and CRM communications
* Oversee inbound enquiries via booking systems and agency platforms
* Contract and confirm private hire events (including high-value corporate bookings)
* Manage deposits, amendments, refunds and payment queries
* Produce weekly performance and revenue reports
* Maintain booking system accuracy and revenue integrity
Event Planning & Delivery
* Host site visits and tastings for prospective clients
* Lead planning calls and produce clear function sheets
* Upsell add-ons and F&B packages
* Liaise closely with operations to ensure seamless delivery
* Provide client support on key event days
Proactive Sales & Market Positioning
* Drive outbound corporate outreach via LinkedIn, email and networking
* Attend showcases and trade events
* Manage agency listings and corporate database growth
* Support local marketing activations and B2B engagement
Operational Support
* Act as a bridge between Sales and Floor Operations
* Support Manager-on-Duty responsibilities when required
* Ensure bookings land operationally clear and profitable
What We're Looking For
Essential:
* Experience in hospitality sales, events or commercial venue operations
* Strong understanding of booking systems (Collins preferred)
* CRM experience (Zendesk, Brevo or similar)
* Experience managing private hire or corporate events
* Commercial awareness and financial confidence
* Experience developing guest-facing teams
Desirable:
* Corporate event planning experience
* Agency listing management experience
* Back-office reconciliation exposure
