An award-winning consultancy, based in Oxford, is seeking a skilled Senior Architect with demonstrable experience in diverse sectors to join their highly successful team. The firm works on cutting-edge projects across the public, advanced manufacturing, science, education, defence, and workplace sectors, both in the UK and internationally.
With a growing multidisciplinary integrated design practice and an impressive portfolio of projects, they are the ideal employer for ambitious, creative professionals.
In this role, you'll work on a diverse range of exciting public and private sector projects, both in the UK and overseas. As a Senior Architect, you'll use your advanced design, technical, and leadership skills to ensure that all projects are completed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget.
We are looking for an ARB/RIBA Chartered Architect with a minimum of 5 years' UK experience post-qualification, who is passionate about sustainable design and UK best practices. You'll also have advanced 3D capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to prepare and present feasibility reports and design proposals. Revit experience is essential!
Senior Architect Requirements & Responsibilities:
1. Strong design and technical detailing skills and leadership qualities
2. Outstanding communication skills
3. Experience in preparing technical drawings, packages, and specifications
4. Providing practical and methodical problem-solving approaches, working within fixed budgets and deadlines
5. Managing planning applications & Building Regulations
6. Inspection of building work on site
7. Knowledge of UK best practice standards
8. Developing customer relationships to find additional opportunities
9. Assisting in business development
In return, the company offers a competitive salary of £48,000-£55,000 (depending on experience), a car allowance, 25 days' annual leave, private healthcare, life assurance, and a generous pension contribution.
