Recovery Coordinator - Recovery Steps Cumbria Location: 92-96 Duke Street Barrow-in-Furness Cumbria LA14 1RD Working Hours: Part time - 15 hours per week (working days are negotiable) Contract Type: Permanent Salary: £25,110 - £32,090 (pro rata) Please note: The salary listed reflects the full earning potential for this role. About the role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Recovery Coordinator (15 hours per week, 2 days) to join our South Cumbria RSC team. This is a rewarding and varied role where you will support individuals throughout their recovery journey, from initial engagement and assessment through to sustained recovery. You will manage a caseload of service users, delivering tailored recovery and treatment plans while completing comprehensive assessments, risk management plans, and safeguarding interventions. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will collaborate with internal colleagues and external partners to ensure individuals receive the best possible support. The role involves delivering both one-to-one and group psychosocial interventions, promoting access to community resources, and supporting individuals and their families to build recovery capital. You will also contribute to harm reduction initiatives and play a key role in reducing substance-related harm to individuals and the wider community. About you You are passionate about making a difference and believe in creating fair opportunities for all. You will hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent), or be willing to work towards this qualification. You will have experience delivering effective interventions, including motivational interviewing (MI), psychosocial interventions (PSIs), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and ITEP, with the ability to work both one-to-one and in group settings. You will have strong assessment and case management skills, with an understanding of recovery planning, risk management, and safeguarding. Experience of working collaboratively with partners, families, and wider support networks is essential, along with the ability to communicate effectively and maintain accurate records.
