Barnes Law is a boutique law firm founded by Yulia Barnes in 2019. We’ve been growing year on year, advising ambitious clients on commercial and intellectual property matters — and now we’re looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone with solid commercial/IP paralegal experience who wants to take the next step in their career. For the right candidate, this position has a clear path to atraining contract.
What you’ll be doing
* Supporting solicitors on commercial contracts and intellectual property work
* Attending client meetings and preparing clear, accurate notes
* Drafting and reviewing contracts and correspondence
* Conducting legal research and preparing briefings
* Managing documents, deadlines, and case files with precision
* Assisting with business development and networking activities
What we’re looking for
* Prior experience as a paralegal (commercial and/or IP work essential)
* Strong academic background in English law
* Excellent drafting, research, and organisational skills
* Ability to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines
* A proactive, ambitious mindset with genuine interest in commercial and IP law
* Willingness to invest time and effort into long-term professional development
