Electronics / Audio Visual Hardware Repair Technician (LED focused) Slough - based in the AV Hub onsite at Head Office Salary £40,000 - £55,000 DOE Full time Permanent role Monday - Friday (Part time hours will be considered) Generous holiday, training, career development, pension and collaborative working Duties: Diagnose and repair small and micro-electronic components in LED display technology Operate variable temperature soldering stations and hot air soldering tools to carry out component-level repair work Adhere to and maintain all required health and safety standards and certifications Perform PAT (Portable Appliance Testing) and EAT (Electrical Appliance Testing) where required Follow defined quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) processes to ensure consistent service standards across all repair work Work independently to manage repair tasks while maintaining communication with the team leader for parts, spares, and workflow updates Maintain accurate records of repairs and completed work in line with 80six documentation standards Contribute to repair tracking through the use of worksheets, databases, or Microsoft Excel tools (training can be provided) Be flexible with working hours to support project delivery schedules, including extended hours when required Share technical knowledge and skills with other team members to support coverage during absences or increased workloads Experience: Proven experience in micro-electronics diagnostics and component-level repair, particularly in LED display systems Full understanding of health and safety compliance and certifications relevant to electronics repair work Competency in PAT/EAT testing or willingness to undertake relevant training Familiarity with QA/QC practices and ability to adhere to predefined service and repair workflows Experience using precision soldering tools, including variable temperature irons and hot air guns Ability to work autonomously and take initiative, while maintaining coordination with team leads
