Position Overview
As the Head of Department, you will manage your own caseload and whilst playing a significant role in leading and shaping the department and its very capable team of fee earners and admin support.
Responsibilities
1. Providing deputyship advice within litigation matters
2. Developing and expanding Court of Protection and Trustee services for personal injury clients
3. Mentoring and advising other team members
4. Supporting deputies and directors in managing client finances
5. Drafting and submitting applications to the Court of Protection
6. Preparing financial information for client meetings
7. Liaising with financial advisors, case managers, and care providers
Requirements
8. Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5+ PQE
9. Extensive experience in Court of Protection work
10. Proven leadership and team management skills
11. Strong business and client relationship management abilities
12. Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
