Primary Function: Cardiology Non-Invasive Stress Testing Registered Nurse is responsible for providing quality care to patients prior to, during, and after cardiac stress testing in accordance with department and hospital policy. The RN plans, directs, and coordinates the daily schedule with inpatient and outpatient services through communication with the supervisor and lead Cardiologists.
Job Qualifications and Specifications: BSN preferred, with a minimum of 4 years of direct experience caring for cardiac patients such as in CCU or dedicated cardiac floors. A minimum of 1 year of cardiac stress testing experience is required. ACLS certification is required. The cardiac care experience requirement may be waived if the candidate has more than 3 years of cardiac stress testing experience. Proficiency in 12-lead EKG interpretation is required. RI State RN Licensure is mandatory.
