Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary School Behaviour Mentor to join one of our fantastic schools in Newham. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a crucial role in promoting positive behaviour and supporting the emotional well-being of our primary school students.
Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and group support to students with behavioural challenges.
Develop and implement behaviour intervention plans in collaboration with teachers and other school staff.
Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Build positive relationships with students, parents, and guardians.
Monitor and record student progress and behaviour changes.
Work closely with the school's SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to support students with additional needs.
Deliver workshops and training sessions on behaviour management strategies for staff and parents.
Maintain up-to-date records of behaviour incidents and interventions.
Collaborate with external agencies and professionals as needed.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience working with primary school-aged children in a behavioural support role.
