Multi-Skilled Joiner
Location: Covering Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire & Lincolnshire
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours/week)

Role Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and versatile Multi-Skilled Joiner to join our team, delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance to social housing properties across Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, and Lincolnshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified joiner who also possesses basic multi-trade experience in plumbing and electrical tasks to contribute to a well-established housing maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out a variety of joinery repairs, replacements, and installations including doors, frames, windows, staircases, skirting boards, and kitchen units.

Construct, fit, and install bespoke woodwork components to a high standard using appropriate materials and methods.
*
Install and maintain joinery hardware including locks, handles, hinges, and fittings.
*
Perform minor plumbing tasks such as repairing leaks, replacing taps, or fixing basic pipework.
*
Undertake basic electrical-related tasks linked to joinery works, where competent to do so.
*
Respond to reactive maintenance requests and complete scheduled work within service level agreements.
*
Accurately document work completed, materials used, and time spent on tasks.
*
Work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety standards.
*
Maintain a clean and safe working environment and represent the company professionally on-site.
*
Fulfil other duties as reasonably requested by management.
What We’re Looking For:
*
NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds qualification in Joinery (or equivalent).
*
Proven experience in joinery installation and maintenance in a social housing or building maintenance environment.
*
Valid CSCS card.
*
Working knowledge of Health & Safety practices within the construction and maintenance sectors.
*
Basic plumbing and electrical skills are highly desirable.
*
Full UK driving licence (essential).
