You’ll help shape and grow our estates function, support future‑focused improvements, and play an important role in ensuring the hospital infrastructure continues to meet essential operational, safety and compliance standards.
What you'll do as a Senior Estates Technical Manager
Lead, motivate and develop a diverse estates team to deliver excellent, compliant services
Build trusted relationships with the client, NHS partners and wider stakeholders
Ensure the hospital’s building, fabric, plant and equipment are safe, reliable and maintained to required standards
Oversee health, safety and legislative compliance within a healthcare environment
Manage budgets responsibly, identifying savings and driving continuous improvement
Key responsibilities and qualifications
Strong leadership skills and experience managing technical teams
Knowledge of building services, healthcare estates requirements and relevant standards
Experience working in an NHS or private healthcare facilities environment
Confidence managing budgets, analysing performance data and driving improvement
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships
Vetting and checks
A Standard DBS check will be carried out for this position. This includes spent and unspent convictions, cautions, reprimands, and warnings as permitted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. An Occupational Health Questionnaire will also be completed so we can ensure you have the necessary support to perform your duties.
