Earlies: £22.23 PAYE / £30.56 Umbrella 06:00-14:15 (Mon-Thu), 06:00-12:00 (Fri)
Lates: £25.94 PAYE / £35.66 Umbrella 14:15-22:30 (Mon-Thu), 12:00-18:00 (Fri)

Who We Are & What's on Offer
We're looking for experienced Skilled Fitters - Falseworks to join a high-performance aerospace team, working on the A350 programme.
You'll be part of the crew assembling and repairing high-precision structures using falsework-think jigs, cradles and custom frameworks designed to align large components like fuselage sections, wings or tanks during build.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Skilled Fitter - Falsework Assembly, you'll operate as part of a skilled manufacturing team, reporting to the Flow Leader and collaborating with Engineering, Quality, and Planning to ensure all targets are hit safely, on time and to spec.
Your day-to-day will include:
Structural Assembly & Precision Work
Experienced in stripping, repairing, and assembling aircraft structures with precision hand-fitting, drilling, and fastening to tight tolerances.
Technical Interpretation & Documentation
Skilled in reading engineering drawings, repair schemes, and completing work route cards ensuring full traceability.
Surface Treatment & Systems Installation
Proficient in applying seals, coatings, and assembling aircraft pipework to industry standards.
Testing & Quality Assurance
Competent in performing alignment, pressure, and electrical bonding tests while strictly adhering to safety, quality, and lean processes.
What You'll Need to Succeed
You'll be a hands-on engineer with strong technical know-how, a problem-solving mindset and the drive to deliver high-quality work every shift.
Essential:
Qualifications & Experience:
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering/Manufacturing or time-served apprenticeship with significant aerospace assembly experience (metallic/composite).
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of technical drawings, engineering documentation, and confident computer use for documentation.
Work Ethic & Practices:
Excellent hand skills, attention to detail, able to work independently or in teams, and familiar with 5S, lean principles, and safe workshop practices.
Desirable:
Current expertise in aerospace fitting skills with strong manual handling awareness.
Positive, can-do attitude and a strong work ethic suited for a physically active role.
