Role & responsibilities
* Overseeing and reviewing monthly management account
* Posting and reconciling all accounting journals
* Preparing monthly balance sheet and P&L reconciliations
* Assisting with year-end financial statements and audit queries
* Developing robust processes and controls to mitigate risk
* Building a full understanding of internal procedures and systems
* Gaining a strong grasp of financial instruments, revaluations, and settlements
What you need
* ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
* Analytic and inquisitive mindset with a proactive attitude
* Proven track record in preparing management accounts
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and IFRS
* Experience working within Energy, Oil & Gas or Utilities
