Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting! We are seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager for a North Liverpool based primary school. This is a full-time, long-term role (52 weeks per year) with a daily rate of up to £200 per day.
Main Duties
1. To be responsible for the development and daily management of Nursery provision and staff.
2. To develop and implement effective Early Years curriculum plans and monitor outcomes taking responsibility for the
3. learning and achievement of all pupils in the nursery ensuring equality of opportunity for all
4. This role will have direct management responsibility for staff and the unit budget.
5. Treat pupils with dignity, building relationships rooted in mutual respect, and at all times observing proper boundaries
6. appropriate to the professional position
7. Work proactively and effectively in collaboration and partnership with pupils and their families, parents/carers,
8. governors, other staff and external agencies in the best interests of children and their families
9. Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school
10. Take responsibility for ensuring all aspects of safeguarding are met including in line with site, local and national policies
11. and guidance.
Professional Training and Qualifications
12. NNEB, NVQ Level 3 Early Years Childcare and Education or equivalent
13. Level 2 qualification in Maths
14. Relevant Early Years curriculum training.
15. A commitment to undertake further training and development
16. Paediatric First Aid Training or agreement to undertake within 3 months
Experience
17. Have at least four years' experience of working in an early years or educational setting with
18. children aged 5 and under
19. Minimum 2 years' experience of a post with management / supervisory responsibilities
20. Experience of implementing a high-quality Early Years Curriculum
21. Preparation for Ofsted inspections; and achievement of positive Ofsted reports.
22. Has contributed to multi-disciplinary teams regarding the promotion of SEND, Safeguarding
23. Health & Safety and/or emotional well-being of children.
24. Experience of working with a team of professionals regarding planning and assessments.
25. Experience of working in a team and supporting colleagues
26. Experience of supporting children with SEND
