Your new roleAs the Sterility Assurance Lead, you’ll be the site’s senior microbiology and QA expert, responsible for driving the contamination control and sterility assurance strategy. You’ll lead microbiology risk assessments, manage sterilization-in-place processes, and support investigations into quality events with microbiological impact. You’ll also oversee SOPs, environmental monitoring reviews, and contribute to site-wide continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Minimum 5 years’ experience in microbiology within the pharmaceutical industry.
2. Strong knowledge of GMP and regulatorypliance, especially EU GMP Annex 1.
3. Proven expertise in sterility assurance, contamination control, and validation.
4. Excellentmunication and stakeholder management skills.
5. Ability to mentor junior staff and lead cross-functional collaboration.
