Job Description
Full‑time senior engineer role based in Warrington, focused on electrical and instrumentation (C&I) support for nuclear decommissioning projects. The position requires close collaboration with plant staff and off‑site design teams to deliver high‑quality designs, technical solutions, and timely responses to queries.
Responsibilities
* Deliver tasks and support requests on time and to quality standards.
* Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, from on‑site plant personnel to off‑site design teams.
* Provide timely responses to technical queries and fault observations from design teams.
* Act as daily liaison with the project team executing the works.
* Escalate issues promptly to senior management.
* Ensure design inputs meet required standards.
* Complete work within the agreed schedule.
* Interact proactively with other disciplines and partners to meet overall project goals and drive cost and schedule improvements.
* Participate in model reviews and design reviews.
* Support the Lead Engineer when required.

Qualifications
* HNC/HND or degree in a relevant discipline, or chartered and member of an appropriate institute.
* Strong client‑facing skills for intelligent customer interactions.
* Nuclear site experience (preferably Sellafield) and operating in a site‑based role.
* Record of successful delivery to time‑scales.
* Experience with installation design packages and instrument datasheets.
* Previous design delivery experience.
* Familiarity with Structural Level (SL) practices, standards, and engineering guides.
* Experience with SL systems such as Cimage, icePAC, CAESAR, and AVEVA.
* Preferably DV clearance, but SC clearance holders will be considered.
