Department: Buying Location: London Description Reports to: Garment Technologist Location: London We have an amazing opportunity for a full time Assistant Garment Technologist to join our team to manage casual clothing (Jersey and Woven). Key Responsibilities Managing the quality and fit for casual clothing. Running fit meetings to drive consistency and improvement. Driving innovation in product, performance, and sustainability through benchmarking and technical advances. Integral part of the buying team, working with the Garment Technologist to advise on technical and sustainable suitability of fabric, construction and fit. Managing your categories testing and AQL programme. Managing sustainable proof of claim certification. Monitoring returns data to spot patterns and poor performance to deliver improvements. Building supplier relationships to influence quality and fit. We Would Like To Meet Someone Who Is At least 1 years in an assistant technologist role. Capable of fitting unaided. Experienced at testing review and managing failures. Good data management and reporting skills. Experience of working with offshore suppliers. Good influencing, negotiation, and communication skills. Team player capable of working under pressure to deadlines. Organised, methodical with great attention to detail.
