Job Role: * This position offers a fantastic opportunity to deepen your watchmaking knowledge while working with a variety of brands, including vintage timepieces. * You will be involved in all aspects of workshop activity – sourcing parts as needed, maintaining your daily-use equipment, and ensuring your work area remains clean and orderly * You’ll service a wide range of high-end watches – many of which the company is already accredited and authorised to repair. * All bench staff are responsible for ensuring that work meets the highest QC standards and aligns with manufacturers’ requirements for functionality and timekeeping accuracy * Your expertise will also support other departments, for example in analysing servicing costs or using internal software to ensure optimal workflow. * From time to time, you may interact with clients at scheduled events, and be involved in cross-functional tasks as needed. Requirements: * A qualification or degree in watchmaking is essential. * Experience working with vintage timepieces and using restoration tools such as lathes is highly desirable. * Ability to authenticate watches in line with the standards of major luxury brands. * A quality-over-quantity approach, with strong organisational and communication skills. * Manufacturer accreditations are highly valued. * Ability to maintain focus and precision within pre-set timeframes, with a commitment to completing all tasks to an immaculate standard. * Comfortable multitasking and shifting priorities when unexpected repair work arises. * Confident and client-friendly, particularly when a client visit may benefit from an introduction to a Watchmaker.
