You will play a key role in delivering high‑quality teaching, supporting a diverse range of learners, and contributing to an engaging and inclusive learning environment. Actual Salary: £9,993.33‑12,649.09 per annum (10.5 hours)
Working Pattern: Tuesday; 08:30am‑12:30pm and Thursday 08:30am‑16:00pm
Essential Criteria
* Hold a relevant Hairdressing industry‑related qualification.
* Hold a recognised teaching qualification, or be willing to work towards one.
* Hold an assessor qualification.
* Minimum Level 2 in Maths and English.
* Strong subject knowledge and understanding of curriculum and qualification frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high‑quality teaching, learning and assessment across a range of Hairdressing courses.
* Act as a course tutor, providing pastoral support and monitoring student progress and attendance.
* Embed English, Maths, Equality & Diversity, and British Values into all teaching.
* Use innovative and creative teaching methods, including digital learning technologies, to motivate and engage learners.
* Maintain accurate records, including schemes of work, lesson plans, registers and student progress tracking.
* Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance processes.
* Support student recruitment through events such as open days and promotional activities.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure an excellent learning experience for all students.
