Our Construction department is excited to announce that we are looking for a team member to join as a Lecturer in Professional Construction - Design, Surveying and Planning.

The Role
Macclesfield College is committed to delivering high-quality education to a diverse range of learners. The post-holder will be involved in marketing, planning, delivering, assessing, and internally verifying the Design, Surveying and Planning (DSP) T Level at Level 3 and HNC Construction Management for England. This involves supporting learners in achieving their academic and career goals through high-quality lessons, ensuring high attendance and satisfaction, and liaising with employer partners to deliver the T Level.
The post-holder's existing skills will be further developed through the College’s continuous professional development programme.
Main Duties
1. Plan teaching, learning, and assessment for college programmes across various levels, ensuring effective learning.
2. Deliver teaching to at least a good or outstanding standard to achieve high success rates.
3. Assess learners’ work accurately, both formatively and summatively, against awarding body criteria to ensure qualification achievement.
4. Comply with all college quality assurance procedures to support successful internal and external audits.
