Job Overview
This role is a fully remote, home‑based position with occasional office attendance for team meetings and training. A typical work pattern is Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30, with a one‑hour lunch break.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct service visits to address reported calls and maintain high standards of professional service support.
* Respond promptly to customer service requests for repair of business equipment.
* Perform fault diagnosis and implement effective repairs through adjustments, cleaning, or spare parts replacement.
* Carry out preventative maintenance as per manufacturer guidelines and service management recommendations.
* Communicate effectively with customers, providing detailed reports on work completed, and ensuring acceptance of equipment condition and performance post‑service.
* Install equipment sold by the company and ensure optimal performance to customer satisfaction.
* Provide training and guidance to customers to maximise equipment efficiency and prevent operational errors.
* Manage inventory of spare parts and consumables effectively to support service operations.
Skills & Experience Required
* Experience as an engineer on MFD printers.
* IT knowledge with the ability to network devices and set up scanning functions.
* First‑class customer service skills with previous customer‑facing experience.
* Experience working in a target‑driven environment.
* Professional appearance and demeanor.
* Willingness to undertake training on new product lines, such as laptops and PCs.
