Whether you’re an experienced Band 6 Dietitian looking to broaden your specialist skills, or a Band 5 Dietitian eager to progress, this role offers the chance to develop your expertise in weight management and diabetes, including Type 2 diabetes prevention and remission, and contribute to innovative service delivery.
About the Role
You will play a key role in supporting adults living with obesity and those at risk of or living with Type 2 diabetes. The post focuses on:
• Delivering evidence-based interventions for weight management and diabetes.
• Supporting the implementation of the new GLP-1/obesity medicine pathway, adding exciting clinical complexity.
• Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide personalised care and behaviour change support.
• Contributing to education, training and service development as we shape the future of dietetic care in Fife.
This is a community-based role with opportunities to work across clinics and virtual platforms, supporting a diverse caseload and engaging in service innovation.

• Diabetes & Weight Management
• Infant, Children & Young People
We support undergraduate and graduate student placements (A, B & C), offer rotational opportunities for new graduates, and host fortnightly education and CPD sessions via Teams. Our service is committed to professional development, innovation, and delivering high-quality, Dietitian-led models of care.
What We’re Looking For
• HCPC-registered Dietitian with enthusiasm and experience in weight management and/or diabetes care.
• Strong communication and behaviour change skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to education, service improvement and patient-centred care.
Please note the salary for this post is pro rata to part time hours.
