About The Role
In this role you’ll be responsible for supporting the marketing channel leads (PPC, SEO, Paid and Organic Social, and CRM) to deliver all planned and tactical agile activity.
You’ll work with the digital trading team, data and insight team, and wider marketing content team to deliver channel specific marketing activity. Providing support for delivery of activity and reporting requirements.
Reporting into the Marketing Coordinator responsible for Organic Social & Affiliates, in this role you will specifically:
1. Support activities required to deliver paid acquisition and retention activity
2. in partnership with business stakeholders, using campaign information, product knowledge
3. and understanding of the customer base to help develop optimisation opportunities.
4. •Work with the Organic Social Coordinator to ensure on-site and off-site content
5. is produced in support of the Social Marketing plan, and that it is SEO optimised.
6. Support in the optimisation of paid amplification of content in line with
7. the marketing and campaign plans, e.g. in Social, YouTube.
8. Support in the build, testing and timely send of Lakeland’s regular email
9. newsletters and all myLakeland Club emails.
10. Liaise with the Buying & Merchandising team and their supply base to source
11. New content to improve the rich-ness of on-site product / category content and
12. for competitions that can be executed across the marketing channels.
13. Deliver the daily / weekly reporting required by the team, using the analytics
14. suites and reporting from platforms. Use this data to propose recommendations
15. for optimisation to the Channel Leads.
About You
You’ll be extremely well organised and be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment to tight deadlines. You’ll have a strong attention to detail and pride in ensuring activities are completed in full. You’ll be numerate, with an analytical mind-set and have an approach based on data and logic.
You’ll need to be a strong self-starter; solution oriented and have a can do attitude. It’s important you’re a team player, able to collaborate with others whilst positively challenging and welcoming feedback to drive self improvement.
Experience
•Ideally you’ll have some experience of digital marketing, preferably across multiple channels in a B2C and ideally in a multichannel business with a significant online presence.
•Experience with digital analytics tools e.g. Google Analytics 360, Adobe Analytics and strong excel / reporting skills
•Experience writing engaging content which may be a personal interest from previous work experience, or demonstrated as part of your studies
•Be able to demonstrate copywriting and proof-reading skills
•Good computer literacy - Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
