Job Description
Bumi Armada UK Limited (BAUK) currently have a permanent staff opportunity for a Deck Foreman / LOLER Competent Person to join the team onboard the Armada Kraken FPSO on a 3:4:3:5 rotational pattern.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing deck activities and supervising lifting operations on the installation and ensuring they are carried out in accordance with LOLER and the Company’s lifting procedures.
Deck Foreman
1. Supervise daily operations of the Deck Crew and actively lead the team in all safety initiatives and programmes.
2. Ensure essential service equipment, for example rigging, scaffolding and associated helideck equipment, is maintained for maximum availability.
3. Assist in the control of materials movement by air and sea and ensure good housekeeping and waste management.
4. Carry out HLO duties including heli-fuel operations and associated paperwork.
5. Ensure completion of relevant deck maintenance routines under the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
6. Carry out safety checks on the helideck area and ensure the work conditions and environment are maintained in a safe condition.
7. Ensure safe working practices at all times by crew and third parties and conduct audits to establish that safe and best practice is implemented.
