I'm reaching out to my network as my client, a premier art conservation and exhibitions company, is seeking a dynamic and driven Conservation & Exhibitions Business Development Manager to join the team. They are renowned for preserving, restoring, and showcasing fine art and cultural heritage, working with museums, galleries, collectors, private clients, and institutions No Agencies Please! Salary £40k to £50k plus bonus depending on experience. The role is fully site based. About the Role: As the Business Development Manager, you will be the driving force behind our strategic growth, forging partnerships, and expanding our client base within the art world. Your mission will be to deliver results aligned with our company objectives while contributing to the long-term success of the Company. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute sales strategies to elevate our market presence and drive growth. Engage new and existing clients, including museums, galleries, collectors, and private clients. Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in the art industry. Manage the complete sales cycle, from initial contact to closing deals. Prepare compelling sales proposals, presentations, and tenders. Collaborate with marketing efforts to produce measurable results. Stay ahead of industry trends and continuously improve business practices. What We’re Looking For: A strategic thinker with excellent attention to detail and a metric-driven approach. A strong network within the art world and exceptional communication skills. It’s essential that you have a proven track record in business development (minimum 5 years) with success in the art, conservation, or luxury merchandise industries. Expertise in MS Office, CRM, and sales tools. Creative, solution-focused, and customer-oriented. Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally.
