We are currently looking a skilled and motivated Class 1 Driver to join our client in Preston Mixture of general haulage, deliveries of paper bales. Start times between 04.00-07.00 - 15.00-22.00 Monday to Friday with weekend work available. Key Responsibilities: * Safely operate Class 1 vehicles. * Perform tramping duties with overnight stays as required. * Conduct depot deliveries and collections, ensuring timely and efficient service. * Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transport. * Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members. * Assist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary. Pay rates PAYE (inc. holiday pay): * £16.81/h days * £19.05/h nights Requirements: * Valid Class 1 (CE) driving license, CPC, Tacho card. * Experience in general haulage and tramping. * A clean driving record with no major endorsements. * Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
