Software Engineering Summer Intern - Waters Wilmslow. The Mass Spectrometry Core Software Engineering team is looking to hire a Software Engineering Intern out of our Wilmslow site. This internship is a phenomenal opportunity to gain real-world experience while working at the world's leading specialty measurement company. This internship will last approximately 10-12 weeks, and the program will commence in June 2026. We work in a hybrid model; Working from home Monday and Friday and on site Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Closing date for applications is Friday 27th March 2026. Join our software engineering team and get hands-on experience with real agile workflows - including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives; with opportunities to collaborate with other engineering teams in the company. Use industry-standard tools such as Git, Jira, and Confluence to collaborate, manage tasks, and document your work. Contribute to the development, testing, and documentation of real features within our embedded software products. Support the creation or enhancement of automated test tools that help improve system performance and robustness. Deliver a scoped project with clear outcomes, presenting your work to the team at the end of the internship.
