Martyn Industrials are looking to recruit a Engineering & Manufacturing Support Technician apprentice to join their team in September! Martyn Industrials are pleased to provide flooring, soft trim and vehicle kit solutions for buses, coaches, ambulances, minibuses and other transport interior requirements. We are pleased to provide complementary products such as adhesives, sealants and tools, and technical training as required. Our DECPAC range of wheelchair access ramps provides independence and mobility for private and corporate customers. As an Engineering and Manufacturing Support Apprentice with Martyn Industrials you will be responsible for; working under the direction of the factory manager you will be producing vehicle kits using appropriate PVC and fabric materials, this will include operating a CNC machine using flexi software for which training will be given. Warehousing duties, good receipt and dispatch and FLT duties will also be part of this role. Key responsibilities Carry out all processes involved in repair, refurbishment and dispatching of DECPAC ramps under direction and guidance of Warehouse Manager. Assist the Factory and Warehouse Manager with general warehousing duties (Goods receipt/storage/dispatch) and deputise for Warehouse Manager during their planned or unplanned absences. Assist with stock control/ stock taking duties as deemed necessary by Warehouse Manager, using CIM50 and Sage 50 professional accounting software. Assist the factory and Warehouse Manager to carry out such tasks as may be required for building and business safety, maintenance and cleanliness. Carry out any other reasonable tasks and duties as directed by Factory and Warehouse Manager which you are trained and are capable. Qualifications Ideally Maths and English at Grade C or equivalent.
