Teacher of Maths
Bailey Street Academy
Bailey Street Alternative Provision Academy is seeking to appoint a teacher of Maths to join our school. We are ambitious about the future – creating learning environments and excellence in teaching and learning that provide our pupils with the best chance at a successful future.
As a dynamic and motivated qualified teacher, you already have a passion for making a difference in the lives of children and young people. In this role, you will have every opportunity to live up to this ambition, responding to the needs of each individual as you help them flourish and thrive. Taking responsibility for their learning, you will motivate them, inspire them and help them develop the skills they need for an incredible future.
You will plan and deliver engaging learning on a daily basis, developing exciting and innovative methods that stimulate interest and excitement in the classroom.
Our class sizes are small, so you are able to create a stimulating and nurturing learning environment designed around each individual’s needs, spending quality time with each pupil. You will observe, monitor and assess them, making sure their personal development and wellbeing are as important as the academic curriculum.
You must have a keen interest in encouraging and inspiring even the most challenging of behaviours. We are looking for candidates, who want to get involved, have their ideas heard and who are resilient and caring. If you are an ECT, we are also happy to receive your application. Ideally, you will be able to turn the core maths curriculum into a fun and engaging subject.
