Pay: £12.60 per hour

We are looking for a Security Officer to join our fantastic team based at one of our client's, one of the largest retail and commercial banks based in the UK. As a Security Officer you are an integral part of the team and you can make an impact with your skills to protect, deter and respond to any security matters, whilst providing an exceptional customer service experience.
About the Role:
As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for:
* Welcoming staff and visitors and creating a safe, professional atmosphere
* Conducting regular patrols and monitor premises to prevent unauthorised access, theft, or vandalism.
* Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents, taking appropriate action as needed.
* Complete detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any security concerns.
* Assist in emergency situations, including evacuations and first aid support if required.
* Adapting to different client sites – no two days are the same
* Responding calmly and confidently to incidents or concerns
* Working as part of a diverse, supportive team

What we are looking for:
* To hold a current DS SIA Licence
* Proven experience in a security role or a similar position.
* Strong observational skills with the ability to identify and respond to security threats.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, visitors, and authorities.
* Ability to remain calm and act decisively in high-pressure situations.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
