We are proud to be partnering with an award-winning Housing Association based in Cardiff, who are looking to appoint a Painter & Decorator on a rolling temporary basis. This will be a full-timeposition based in Cardiff, with a range of different benefits including a company van and a competitive hourly rate of up to £23.00 on a CIS basis. The ideal candidate will have experience working in Social Housing, have a basic DBS and be within a commutable distance of Cardiff. Duties will include (but are not limited to): Carrying out all aspects of internal and external painting, decorating, and finishing work across tenanted and void properties Preparing surfaces for decoration including filling, sanding, stripping wallpaper, and priming surfaces Applying a range of finishes including emulsion, gloss, satin, undercoats, varnishes, and specialist paints as required Hanging wallpaper and other wall coverings to high standards where applicable Ensuring all works are completed efficiently, safely, and to a professional standard in line with health & safety regulations Identifying and report any repair issues, safeguarding concerns, or property condition risks encountered during visits Experience required: Experience required in Social Housing Experience working with customers within housing Skills, knowledge and expertise required: Utilizing a PDA system Rewards and Benefits: Van and fuel card provided Working hours : 37 hours per week Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.
