Paralegal - healthcare

Key Responsibilities

1. Supporting the fee earners on day to day file management
2. Assisting on healthcare claims
3. Reviewing expert evidence and preparing reports
4. Preparing court bundles
5. Drafting letters of instruction, requests, Instructions to Counsel
6. Preparing briefing notes, action plans, file notes and attendance notes
7. Reviewing reports and statements and other relevant documents
8. Drafting and proof reading documents
9. Liaising with and meeting clients with a high level of professionalism
10. Conducting research and keeping up to date with legal and industry practices
11. Managing day to day deadlines with the ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
12. Strong written and verbal communication skills
13. Ensure files and spreadsheets are maintained and updated
14. Adhoc tasks as required

Essential Skills & Experience

15. An undergraduate law degree or equivalent (minimum 2:1 required)
16. Strong IT skills and proficient in Microsoft office
17. Excellent attention to detail
18. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
19. Ability to plan and prioritise effectively
20. Previous paralegal experience is desirable but not essential.
