Job Description
West Midlands Police is actively recruiting Transferees to work in our state‑of‑the‑art force control room located at C3, Park Lane – Aston – Birmingham. This role involves dispatching resources to emergency and priority calls across the West Midlands region, from Wolverhampton to Coventry, and Sutton Coldfield to Dudley. Officers will safeguard the most vulnerable, deploy resources to critical incidents, and contribute to saving lives in our communities.
The role is based at our Command Centre in Aston, Birmingham and includes the following amenities:

Am I eligible?
* You must be substantive or within the last 3 months of your probation period
* You must be transferring from a UK Home Office Police Force or BTP (or previously served as substantive in a UK Home Office Force)
* Outstanding complaints or matters with PSD must be resolved before applying

Vetting
Successful applicants must pass Recruitment Vetting and Counter Terrorism Clearance, including full background and financial disclosure.
Medical
Appointment is dependent upon successful medical checks, which may include a drugs test and, if required, a fitness test.
