Job Type: Full-time | 12-week Temp to Permanent
Shift Pattern (Rotating):
Monday – Friday on a two-week rotation
06:00 – 14:00 (AM Shift – 2 weeks)
12:00 – 20:00 (PM Shift – 2 weeks)
Pay Rate:
£15.00 per hour
Overtime available after 37.5hrs paid at time and a half at £22.50.
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an Inbound Warehouse Team Leader on behalf of a major global logistics provider operating a brand-new, state-of-the-art e-commerce distribution centre in Birmingham (Coleshill).
This site supports one of the world’s fastest growing social commerce platforms, handling high volumes of e-commerce stock and fast-moving consumer products.
As an Inbound Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the receipt, checking, and system processing of incoming goods, ensuring stock is accurately received and efficiently moved through the warehouse operation. You will lead and motivate a team of warehouse operatives while maintaining high standards of accuracy, productivity, and safety.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the inbound warehouse team to ensure daily operational targets are achieved
Coordinate the unloading, receipt, and system processing of inbound deliveries
Ensure inbound goods are checked, recorded, and stored accurately within WMS systems
Allocate daily tasks and monitor productivity across the inbound department
Support stock control processes including inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and discrepancy investigations
Work closely with warehouse management to ensure efficient flow of stock from inbound to storage and picking areas
Monitor team performance and provide coaching, training, and ongoing support
Maintain high standards of health & safety compliance within the warehouse
Investigate and resolve inbound issues such as damaged goods, shortages, or incorrect deliveries
Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency
Ensure all team members follow correct procedures and company policies
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 1 year of experience in a Team Leader or Supervisory role within a warehouse or logistics environment
Experience working within inbound warehouse operations
Strong understanding of inventory processes and warehouse management systems (WMS)
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to motivate and support a team in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
Good understanding of health & safety standards within warehouse operations
Confident using warehouse systems and reporting tools
